Hi Guys, I have done a few updates on the website. You will now find a Downloads section located from the main menu. And i have also installed an Image Hosting system through the forums. How to install the Pro Ladder mod. There are 2 ways you can install the Pro Ladder mod If you currently have BF2Pro installed and the ladder Map pack then download pro_ladder_v1_0.exe from http://www.gamearena.com.au/downloads/details.php/pro-ladder-mod-v10-for... and then refer to Option A below. If you don’t have the current custom map pack (COTD, OBHD, Sharqi West, Karkand 2, Oman Derailed) or BF2Pro installed then download and install pro_ladder_v1_0_client_full.exe from http://www.gamearena.com.au/downloads/details.php/31873 and refer to Option B below. This file contains the mod and also the custom maps required to play in the Gamearena 10v10 ladder, Use option B if you don’t have the custom map pack or you are unsure if you can correclty copy maps between folders if needed. Option A 1. Run the installer pro_ladder_v1_0.exe and install the mod into your Battlefield 2\mods directory. 2. Next step is to ensure your custom maps are in your default levels folder (mods/bf2/levels) if they are not there then: a. Go to your \Battlefield 2\mods\bf2pro\levels folder and locate the custom maps called city_of_the_dead, obhd_inf, oman_derailed, sharqi_west, strike_at_karkand_2 Copy these folders and paste them into Battlefield 2\mods__bf2__\levels directory (not the pro ladder/levels folder. You should also see the remainder of the standard maps in this folder including road to jalalabad and tampa highway. 3. Done. Option B 1. Run the installer pro_ladder_v1_0_client_full.exe and install into Battlefield 2\mods folder. 2. Done. Desktop Shortcut. The installer does not put a shortcut on the desktop but there is one in the proladder mod folder that can be placed on the desktop. The shortcut will only work if you have BF2 installed in the default location C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2. If you don’t have BF2 installed in the default location you can edit the shortcut provided to redirect to your install directory or make a shortcut by right clicking your BF2 shortcut on the desktop and then select send to>desktop this will place another shortcut on the desktop, rename it to Pro Ladder then right click on it and select properties. In the target section at the end place the following +modPath mods/proladder so the target should read something like "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/proladder Click apply. Note if you have BF2 installed in it’s default location then the installer will place the mod in the correct directory. FAQ Q Do I need to have BF2Pro installed as well to use the Proladder mod? A No you do not need this mod for any ladder matches, aslong as have copied (if needed), the few custom maps into your bf2/mods folder if they were not already there you can unistall BF2Pro and delete the folder. Q Why am I putting the custom maps into the default BF2/mods folder? A The maps can be located in either the default BF2/mods directory or Proladder/mods directory. It is a better option to place it in the default BF2/mods directory as most mods by default access that folder if they are not in the associated mod folder. Q Do I need to download and install Highway Tampa? A Yes you need to ensure you have downloaded and installed Highway Tampa as this map is in the ladder map selection. Highway Tampa can be downloaded from Here Q I can't join the BF2Pro servers, how do I book servers that use this mod? A This mod is completely separate to the BF2Pro mod, it uses nothing from its folder and cannot run that mod or vice versa. To book the mod go to server bookings, select Battlefield 2 and then under "Game Mod" select "Pro Ladder". Q I didn't follow your instructions and I stuffed it up, can I copy levels between the folders? A You must not replace any of the levels with another from a different mod folder. You may copy the custom maps and individual released maps like Tampa into a folder that does not already contain it. Basically the bf2 folder contains the full version of the map, while the mod folders just have small tweaked files that modify those vanilla maps. If you copy a small tweak mod level over the large vanilla level you will screw that map for all versions.

Review. Tom_Danger.OE , M3TA4.OE , Wonderland.OE (Rabbit) , DL3MA.OE Great communication and a nice show of your honor. Wonderland and M3TA4 holding objective points well and making OE win some rounds due to this effort. Some Nice shooting from DL3MA and M3TA4 taking a fare few kills and Wonderland staying alive always helped dramaticly. Tom I think was not having his best day, Unusual to see him die but he was always balsy in going for objectives and therefore giving us great round advantages. OE vs NOC resulting in a win of 7-5 and was a draw at 5-5 making it a little scary, getting another round under our belt was reasuring to make us a draw minumim but Dlema pulling of a sexy head shot on the 12 round for there last enemy (1 vs 1) and time was very limited took us to a great victory. HOOOAH OE and on NOC's Side i would say they played very well and i was to believe they were not at there peak.. All in all great match and well done guys
