CyberGamer 10v10 Rules

It is highly important that you read the CG rules, and ensure you set up your weapons for each kit, and again when you swap teams.

When you are at spawn screen. Set your primary weapon to whatever weapon is in top left. Then change your:

  • Attachments
  • Scopes
  • Vehicle Abilities
  • Squad Abilities

The rules for 10v10 can be read here: http://www.cybergamer.com.au/pc/bf3/ladder/rules/

New Cybergamer Squad Rush Team

Team,

We now have a 4x4 team on the Cybergamer 4x4 Squad Rush ladder. Over the next couple of weeks I plan to hold a few nights to train on these maps, as I do not believe we are very familiar with them.

The team will be headed by myself. Regular members of the BF3 team that have been online recently have been signed up so far are: Tangy, Grot, BFGuy, Blade and Xtrude.

This team will be for players who are on at least two times a week, and are able to turn up to the required training matches.

Signing up to each match is a must! If you are unsure on how to sign up to a match on our website, contact myself.

Please read your emails. If you are unable to read your emails on a regular basis, please make visiting the forums a habit. Match notifications are cross posted to the forums.

I do not expect everyone to sign up for this team. The 4x4 ladders is fast, with multiple challenges to other teams active at a time. Although there are only 4 slots per game, I hope to have a 6 strong members playing.

To sign up to the team, please post a request in our private Battlefield 3 forums, and request membership on Cybergamer.

Regarding our BF3 Servers Recent Performance

Hi,

Our clan has two BF3 servers, one 32 and one 48 player both controlled by two separate GA accounts.

Both of these servers will kick all players from the server at random occasions. It does not seem to correlate to player count, as it may do it when it is full, or only 2 players in.

The server will stay up, and we can rejoin in about 3 minutes after being kicked. The server is in the same state it was before kicking everyone, rush and conquest progress will be the same.

Good Morning,

The problems that you have reported (players being disconnected from your servers, servers disappearing from BattleLog, etc) are caused by a known issue that is currently affecting BF3 servers from a number of different Game Server Providers, both in Australia and in other countries. You may have noticed that it has become more frequent over the last few weeks, and for many customers has become intolerable this weekend.

Unfortunately, the disconnections are caused by a networking issue in another country. This issue is outside our ability to fix or avoid. We are working with EA/DICE to bring as much pressure as possible on the company that has the power to fix the issue, but we have been given no ETA on a resolution. The latest update we've received was that the problem was resolved, but we've seen no improvement at this time.

I hope to have more detailed information about this issue for you soon, and I have requested a statement from EA/DICE that will answer any questions you have, but I'm not certain if they will provide one. I think it is important that you be given answers about why this has happened, but they take the security of their network very seriously and have declined in the past to make public statements about these sorts of problems if they feel that it would give people information that they could use to attack BF3 servers.

Even though this problem is outside our control, I've credited each of your active subscriptions with an additional five days of time as some compensation.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused. We take pride in the quality of our service and we are as disappointed as you are when we offer anything other than rock solid, lag free servers.

If you do have any questions about this, please let me know, and I'll give what answers I'm permitted to give.

Regards,
Brendan.

BF3 Commo Rose 2.0

Commo Rose was a much requested feature for Battlefield 3, but the version that managed to ship with the game is awkward and practically useless, as it’s missing key commands — the two most needed commands (“Need ammo”, “need medic”) are not there.
Now according to DICE sound producer Tomas Danko, DICE have updated Commo Rose quite a lot, so much in fact, that they’re referring to it as “Commo Rose 2.0?. Danko recently Tweeted:

“We have patched and updated comrose big time, it will be distributed shortly.” “It’s so updated we refer to it as comrose 2.0. Soon in a patch near you. ”

Danko also confirmed that players will be able to request ammo and medic help with the 2.0 system. Commo Rose a communications interface used by holding down the “Q” button, where after a menu pops up where players can issue commands, request stuff, etc. No word on when the next patch will be released.
